There is no single transport stop called “Bucharest city centre”. Bus 100 and the airport train take you to different places. First check whether your hotel is closer to Piața Unirii or Gara de Nord, then follow the corresponding boarding signs.
Follow these steps
- Bus 100: to central BucharestUse the public-bus stop outside the Departures (Plecări) terminal during the current airport works. The metropolitan route connects to Piața Unirii 2. It is not a FlixBus stop.
- Airport train: to Gara de NordGo to the ground floor of Arrivals (Sosiri), then follow marked directions to the airport railway station. The train connects the airport with București Nord.
- Continue by metro or public transportAt Gara de Nord, consult the Metrorex map for metro connections. From the bus 100 terminus near Piața Unirii, check the correct metro entrance for your destination.
- Check the operator before boardingAirport stop placements may change due to construction. Check the date of the official airport notice and live departure information on the linked provider sites.
The airport metro line M6 is a construction project, not a currently operating airport metro connection. Do not follow maps that suggest you can already take the metro directly from OTP.
